Strawberry Basil Balsamic Martini

After my sister and i mixed up the grapefruit margaritas a few weeks ago, we still had an abundance of grapefruit on our hands.

Recipe Summary Strawberry Basil Balsamic Martini

Delicious sweet and savory cocktail. Garnish with a strawberry.

Ingredients | Grapefruit Basil Martini Recipe

2 strawberries, or more to taste

2 basil leaves, or more to taste

½ fluid ounce agave nectar

ice cubes

2 fluid ounces vodka

½ fluid ounce lime juice

½ ounce balsamic glaze (reduced balsamic vinegar), divided

Directions

Place strawberries, basil, and agave nectar in a cocktail shaker and mash well with a muddler. Add ice, vodka, lime juice, and 1/4 ounce balsamic glaze. Cover and shake cocktail until the outside of the shaker has frosted.

Swirl remaining 1/4 ounce balsamic glaze around the inside of a martini glass. Strain cocktail into the glass.
